Emma’s Baby Shower.

Lynn contacted me a few months ago to ask if I was available to style her daughter Emma’s baby shower. The event was to be an afternoon tea at The Fenwick Hotel and from the outset Lynn had a firm idea of how she envisioned the room should look.

We decided it was probably best to meet in person to go over what was required and the moment we met I just knew I was going to love working with Lynn, she arrived with a massive bunch of beautiful tulips for me and was so full of energy and ideas for the decor. As the time went on, we messaged back and forward, then met up again and finalised all the plans. As well as my decor Lynn had organised a balloon tower, balloon B A B Y blocks and some balloons for the tables by I & A events – a fabulous friendly team of balloon decor specialists from Glasgow. The main feature was to be the dessert & cake table featuring stunning cake pops from le cakepop another local business whose work is simply stunning and the cutest ever baby cupcakes by Magic oven cakes n cupcakes.I had gone before the cake arrived but Lynn sent me on a photo – her son provided the cake and it looked amazing!I supplied some mini cheesecake dessert pots & set them out on mirror plates and with some cute pink baby themed pieces , the cake table was complete.Lynn had also made the cutest shower cream favours for all the guests saying from Emma’s shower to yours…I set the afternoon tea tables with pink vintage China and jars of flowers picked from my cutting garden were placed onto pink runners together with the balloons.I’m told a fabulous time was had by all and I look forward to hearing all th news when baby arrives. Thankyou to Lynn for asking me to style this special day.Much love, Joanna X
